  • Infill
    Filling of a void by means of an opaque or transparent panel.
  • Infiltration
    Penetration of water through joints that can wet elements and components not designed for wetting.
  • Insulating padding
    Stratified element of differing thicknesses supplied in the form of rolls, usually made of insulating material such as rock wool or glass wool.
  • Insulation
    Material that prevents or slows down the transfer of heat (heat-proofing) or sound (soundproofing) from one room to another or through a construction element.
  • Intrados
    Fixed element around the top of a door or window casing, that covers the edges of the wall in which it is fitted
