  • EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer)
    A black vulcanised elastomer (ethylene, propylene, terpolymer) characterised by excellent resistance to aging and to buckling.
  • Edge panel
    Panel, the dimensions of which are reduced in order to enable it to cover exactly the areas of contact between the modular system and the partitions or the vertical closing elements of the building.
  • Edging
    Component of the panel, adhering to or secured mechanically to all four sides in order to provide protection for the panels and for the floor covering
  • Expansion joint
    In an expansion joint, two or more elements that interface directly with one another are able to move in relation to stresses due to expansion caused by temperature changes.
  • External insulation
    This type of insulation consists of cladding the outside walls with insulating panels capable of protecting the underlying layers without removing the old plaster.
  • Extrusion
    Process for the production of section bars by exerting pressure on the material that becomes plastic and is made to pass through a die that gives it a specific cross-section. This term is also used to indicate a seam of sealant obtained by exerting pressure on the cartridge containing it
  • Extrusion
    Section bar or element obtained by means of the extrusion process
